Internship
During my 10 weeks tax internship, my primary role was to assist in preparing and filing tax returns for surrounding residents and students. I worked specifically on completing 1040 forms, along with related documents such as 1098 and Schedule C returns. This experience provided me with valuable hands-on training in manually reviewing financial documents and ensuring accuracy in tax preparation. It directly connected to my accounting and finance coursework, allowing me to apply classroom knowledge to real-world tax filing and document review processes.
