I had the pleasure of being an audit intern for Baker Tilly during the summer of 2025.\u00a0 During this time, I handled completing various workpapers and assignments to accelerate the completion of audits. During my internship, I mostly handled projects related to employee benefits, but I also participated in a couple of audits. I went on-site for the first steps of an audit and helped carry forward a variety of workpapers in an audit for higher education schools. I learned the general concept of what an audit is and how it is actually completed.
