Love-Driven Leadership: The Unlikely Key to Successful, Ethical Business (and Life) Decisions
During this presentation, Chris Lowney discussed the role of love in leadership. We started off by identifying people in our lives that we think are leaders. We talked about how each of the leaders we identified possess most of the same qualities that we possess, so any of us could be a leader. He challenges the normal perceptions and suggests that love-driven leadership is about adopting a servant mentality where leaders prioritize the well-being of their team members rather than just straight work. Overall, this presentation taught me how to incorporate love into decision-making and success. Leaders who treat others with empathy, respect and humility will establish trust and collaboration among their team, which is essential for a thriving organization.
