Trade Management Intern
- During my internship at Prudential Private Capital, I supported the team in analytical, operational, and project-based tasks designed to enhance business efficiency and decision-making. My responsibilities included reconciling and analyzing data, preparing onboardining tickets, assisting with workflow improvements, monitroing fund availabilities and disbursements and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support ongoing initiatives. I also contributed to team meetings and helped streamline day-to-day processes through research, documentation, and organizational support.
- Examples of Projets:
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Reconciled, cleaned, organized, and analyzed datasets using Excel, producing insights that supported weekly team meetings and informed decision-making.
- Process Improvement Initiative: Created a comprehensive tracking document to verify whether companies were correctly labeled as part of a specific project, and updated system entries when discrepancies were found to improve data accuracy.
- Onboarding Support: Created onboarding tickets for newly added companies to the project, ensuring smooth integration into internal systems and maintaining accurate documentation.
- This internship strengthened my analytical, technical, and communication skills in ways that directly support my major. I applied concepts from courses such as Business Analytics, Finance, and Information Systems, especially data cleaning, visualization, and understanding financial products. I gained hands-on experience using tools like Excel, copliolet and internal platforms to analyze real-world datasets. I also learned how large financial organizations operate, how cross-functional teams collaborate, and how data-driven insights influence business decisions. This experience helped me connect classroom knowledge to practical applications in finance, risk management, and analytics.
