Winter Intersession: Dingle Ireland
Took Sustainability and Tourism Marketing via SHU Dingle. Intersession 2025-26.
Interacted with local businesses coming up with Marketing Strategy in Dingle, Ireland. I specifically worked with Murphy’s Ice Cream in developing a marketing strategy to aide in their upcoming expansion into America and to map out how they can market to increase revenue during seasons of slow tourism. Our class also interacted with multiple businesses- Murphy’s Ice Cream, Dingle Crystal, Dingle Accommodations, and Dingle Linen to learn about their sustainability practices and how it impacts their businesses. We also had a chance to speak to Tourism Ireland and how they developed marketing strategy to increase visitation to the western side of Ireland via their campaign of the ‘Wild Atlantic Way’.
